Remember when we talked about The Wraith: Shangri-La? Times were simpler back then. We were in the same room recording. The audio quality was under par (not our fault). Schmeev was working 3 jobs just to make ends meet while still taking time to visit the local orphanage to bring some diamond rain to the children. Meanwhile, Mike just had a crisis of faith when he realized how much he loved The Wraith compared to his first love, The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. But something we knew was that The Wraith, the end of it all, it was special. What we also knew was that Schmeev never likes remixes. But we've matured since then! Can an album so pivotal in the careers of the clowns be touched again? Do new producers provide a fresh take on some classic carnie tracks? Does Schmeev decide that he DOES like the remix of "Juggalo Homies" that we encountered way back on Forgotten Freshness 4? It's August, which means it's officially the spooky season! Wait, it's not? Well someone needs to tell all the white girls that it's STILL SUMMER, DAMMIT. YOU CAN WAIT 2 MORE MONTHS. Anyways, you should probably let Twiztid know as well, but October of 2006, they at least released something that made sense for the time. Twiztid LOVES Halloween, and at their yearly Fright Fest event they decided to release a compilation of songs from prior Hallowicked and Fright Fest shows. How do these stack up to the Hallowicked tracks we covered from ICP's 2005 Hallowicked Compilation? Do Twiztid nail the vibe of scaring the shit out of you?
