Mike & Schmeev have known each other for over 20 years, and for most of that time, Mike has been a Juggalo. Juggalo Judgment is what happens when a Juggalo convinces his non-Juggalo best friend to do a deep dive into the history of Insane Clown Posse, Psychopathic Records, and the Juggalo world as a whole. Follow us as we go album by album, giving our thoughts and hot takes on beloved records and under-the-radar releases from The Label That Runs Beneath The Streets and beyond!

Ep. 77 - Bass-Ment Cuts by Inner City Posse
Sunday Feb 13, 2022
Sunday Feb 13, 2022
On "Down With The Clown", Shaggy 2 Dope declares that "this one goes out to the ninjas that's been down since Carnival Of Carnage". He proceeds to correct himself by then saying it's for those who have been down since Dog Beats. And then he mentions some other random album before Dog Beats, stating it's for the people who allegedly started listen upon THAT album's release. Well, we decided to continue our trip to the past and search for that hallowed record. Violent J, still pursuing fame as a gangsta rap artist, would press on with honing his lyrical abilities as a member of Inner City Posse. Does this record show more flashes of early greatness? Are there any hints of clowny hijinks yet? Can we please have D-Lyrical back? We answer these and more today as we go down the stairs and dig up... Bass-Ment Cuts.

Juggalo Judgment has been going on for nearly 3 years. It's insane to think of everything we've been able to talk about on this show and all the people who have taken time out of their busy schedules to listen to 2 dorks who have taken time out of their busy schedules to sit down, listen to, and analyze music of the Juggalo variety. Over that time, Mike has made it a point that we only cover the albums he has purchased, and because of that, there's been some stuff that he's missed. As time has gone on, he's been able to acquire more albums, including some that we already passed up. So we thought it was a good time to go back in time to cover the shit we missed! Up first, we have the first official ICP record, back when it was Inner City Posse comprised of Violent J and D-Lyrical flexing their skills with a karaoke machine. But an episode so monumental could not be tackled by just your lovable duo, so we enlisted the help of Aaron and Erik of ICP With We to join in on the fun! Does Violent J show flashes of greatness so early in his career? Should D-Lyrical have been more present here? And is Violent J ACTUALLY the mack? We find out the answers to these questions and more today as we dive headfirst into some schooling and fighting, or rather... Intelligence & Violence.
Again, big shout out to Aaron and Erik for joining us for this episode. We had an incredible time talking about this record and it's always a joy to chat with them. Make sure you check out their podcast ICP With We wherever you get your podcasts and show them some love!

Ep. 75 - Psychopathic: The Videos
Sunday Jan 16, 2022
Sunday Jan 16, 2022
Rounding out 2007, we got a treat for you. At that point, Psychopathic Records had been around for about 15 years, and over that time, they made a lot of music videos. What better way to check them out than by doing what a lot of other artists at the time did and compile them all on a DVD so you can binge them all? So today, in similar fashion to our Big Money Hustlas episode, we have a commentary track for you. Go ahead and pop in the DVD, press "play" when we tell you, and it's like we're sitting on the couch with you! Let's travel through the Hatchet's history with Psychopathic: The Videos!
(As an aside, let us know if you like these commentary-style episodes. We're gonna be starting our "shit we missed" section, and there's a few other DVD-style things we could cover if you're interested, so tell us!)

Psychopathic Guest Features Part 1: Beginning - 2007
Sunday Jan 02, 2022
Sunday Jan 02, 2022
Juggalo Judgment has been trucking along for almost 3 years now, and in that time, we've covered about 15 years of music from Psychopathic Records. But in that time, you think they only did their music? Fuck no! The Hatchet Family wouldn't just be restricted to their corner of the underground, and other artist were bound to take note. So on today's special episode, we're taking a look at some of the most prominent guest spots that ICP, Twiztid, and the like did for other artists, underground and mainstream alike! Are ICP's spots typical ICP verses? Did we technically add a couple Psychopathic songs to this because we didn't cover a specific compilation? Did we actually talk about that god-awful Cykosis song? No, no we didn't talk about that one, so sorry in advance. Grab a friend, partner up and let's see some Psychopathic flexing as we cover Psychopathic Guest Features: Beginning - 2007.

Mike missed his check two weeks ago and I failed to step up to the plate then, so I'm making up for that now by giving you a SECOND Christmas check (go listen to his if you haven't). Also he released on a Saturday which means technically he didn't release a proper Sunday episode so it's my time. Besides, it's Christmas so why shouldn't you get presents from both of your pod parents?

It's Christmas, so here's your present: a brand new Mike Check a day early! There's a bit of news here, but the main flavor is Mike's top 5 albums of 2021 list, so join him as he dives in and potentially makes some people mad. Thank you for another year of listening to us ramble about Juggalo music, and we hope you stick around for 2022 and beyond!

Ep. 74 - Psychopathics From Outer Space Part 3
Sunday Dec 19, 2021
Sunday Dec 19, 2021
Today, we venture into the deep deep DEEP blackness of space for the 3rd time because Psychopathic Records decided that the last time in 2003 just couldn't be the last. With the changes in the roster, Psychopathic Records was a different landscape in the time that's passed. But with some new faces on the roster, how does this compare to Juggalo favorite PFOS and the bane of our existence PFOS2? Does The Hatchet make any attempt to make the songs space-y? Are there some hidden gems that should have been promoted more? Are there any vans in space, and if not, how far are we from having the technology to do so? We ponder these questions and more today as we look to the stars and see in the distance... Psychopathics From Outer Space Part 3.

Ep. 73 - Clockwork Gray by Blaze Ya Dead Homie
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
Kudos to Blaze for not releasing something every single year, waiting just long enough for the Juggalos to ask "WHEN THE FUCK IS BLAZE GONNA DROP SOME NEW SHIT?". Well in 2007, everybody's favorite shotgun-wielding dead man returned. We enjoyed quite a bit of Blaze's last record with 2004's Colton Grundy, but what else could Blaze offer us? With a lot of other releases that year from his labelmates, Blaze would have to pull out all the stops to create something memorable, and we find out here if he did. Does Blaze continue to evolve into a multidimensional being? Does this album have one of Mike's favorite Blaze tracks that he has a dumb story with? And does it contain a lackluster cut that includes the 9th most popular artist from another label? Find out today as Mike doesn't have a good pun for... Clockwork Gray.
