Psychopathic Record is the label that runs beneath the streets. Hatchet House is the sub-label of the label that runs beneath the streets. A house is below the underneath of the streets. In a way, you could say it resides in the tunnels. And if you need to traverse those tunnels quickly, you could briskly walk through them. You could even run. Guys, idk what kind of description i'm trying to make for this. In 2008, Psychopathic decided to release a compilation of some heavy hitters in the underground. The R.O.C.'s story with Psychopathic Records is an interesting one. From touring with ICP as a member of H.O.K., to leaving H.O.K., inadvertently causing Mr. Bones and Hektik to rebrand as Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child and become Twiztid on Psychopathic, continuing to use H.O.K. and also releasing music as a solo artist, to patching things up with his former group members and eventually joining The Hatchet himself, he had done a lot in his rap career. Joining Hatchet House, R.O.C. would initially be Blaze's hype man and partner in the new group Zodiac Mprint, but before we would get a record from the duo, a solo release was necessary to get people up to speed. Would R.O.C. stand out from the better-known labelmates? Do guest features overshadow his abilities? Is he, like many of his Hatchet homies, a total nerd? With an LP and an EP under his belt, he was quickly building his resume on the label. Slowing down clearly wasn't an option, and so in 2008 he would put out his 3rd release on The Hatchet.
