Bang! Pow! Boom! was a proverbial explosion to the Juggalo world. Returning to the Dark Carnival was just what the Wicked Clowns needed give the Juggalos what they wanted, and they did so in a big way. But dropping an album wasn't enough. They had to tour and... drop an expanded edition of their album? Well why not? Supersize the record with bonus tracks and a DVD with more freshness than you can juggle and appease the Juggalos. Last episode, we covered the main album. Now, we cover the exclusive intros, the hidden bonuses, and the new flavor in Bang! Pow! Boom! Nuclear Edition.

The Joker Cards came and went. The world ended. At least, that's what people thought would happen. There was a Calm, then a mighty Tempest rolled through the land, and we waited through the Eye Of The Storm. Juggalos, Juggalettes, and those who don't identify as such waited for something, anything. Then, Shining in the distance, came a rumbling. The faint sounds of the calliope, slowly growing louder and louder, signaling the return of the Wicked Clowns. But the Carnival has no room for new guests. It's time to hit a hard reset. Mike and Schmeev will be your guides as the explosive new beginning arrives, and the 2nd deck starts to be dealt. This... is Bang... Pow... Boom!

Mike E. Clark is a motherfucking legend, and if anyone tells you different, you're legally obligated to kick them in the shins. The man is essentially the 3rd member of ICP and is responsible for some of the most iconic tracks in their career. During his time away from the label, he picked up some new tricks to add to his repertoire and brought them back to The Hatchet. His first order of business? No, not work on The Shining, shut up. Release a remix and mash-up album! The mad genius reworks some old classics along with some newer gems for the Juggalos to jame to. Does Mike finally convince Schmeev that there's a good remix? You may remember that Juggalo Judgment had a real short hiatus. A "sneeze and you missed it" kinda situation. Right before then, we covered Twiztid's 2009 album "W.I.C.K.E.D., and Blade learned how good that record was. In support of the album, Twiztid went on the "End Of Days" tour, and in similar fashion to Toxic Terror, had an exclusive EP available at the merch booth. Did Twiztid add more wickedness to the W.I.C.K.E.D. era? Should Prozak stay off of the Internet? Is Boondox a total creep? The Shining is a masterpiece. The Jack Nicholson movie, at least. One of his most iconic roles, a story of psychological horror showcasing the gradual mental degradation of people cut off from the rest of society. Also, Shelly Duvall's performance, *chef's kiss*, may she rest in peace.

 

Anyway, Violent J made a solo album and called it The Shining and it has nothing to do with the movie. Released on his birthday on 2009, he took an album he didn't finish, gave away for free at the 2008 GOTJ, and decided he could make money off of it the following year. It's a weird number, huh? It ain't 17 or anything like that. It's nothing super significant. So what's 679? It's the amount of days between official Juggalo Judgment episodes. I know. I asked Google. After a hiatus that was far longer than either of us expected, we're back.

 

And we're talking about Motown Rage.

Motown Rage is a rock band from Detroit that supported ICP at a number of shows and tours, and so it was clear that they needed to join The Hatchet, but not The Hatchet proper. Signing to Hatchet House, we get Psychopathic's 2nd attempt at having a rock group for the Juggalos, only this time without Violent J writing writing the entire album, and it's definitely leaning more towards the nu-metal vibe. Does Sadistic have a sick flow? Does Razor Ray still have a voice after yelling for an entire show? Are you happy that we're back? Well that's for you to decide, because you're either... With Us Or Against Us.

I was born in the year 1990, so it's a pretty important year for me. For people who were already thinking beings at the time, it was important for plenty of other reasons, like the Hubble space telescope launch, Nelson Mandela's release, the invasion of Panama, and the release of the first studio album by alt/experimental/funk band Primus, Frizzle Fry.
